Don’t skip breakfast
You’ve probably heard this one before from your parents, a lot, but you’ll have to begrudgingly accept that they’re right on this one. Not only will it set you up for the rest of the day, but eating a hearty and healthy breakfast will also help you to feel less hungry throughout the day. It’s all about helping your body to get into a regular routine and rhythm.
Cut back on takeaways
Again, this one probably sounds obvious, but you should know that takeaways aren’t exactly healthy. If you’re getting them on a regular basis, you’re not exactly helping yourself, or your health. Though it might be easy and convenient, too many takeaways will take a toll on your health, as well as the health of your finances. Try to keep them as an occasional treat, or as a much-needed hangover cure.
Eat a varied diet
Yes, by now, I do indeed sound like captain obvious, especially for this one. But are you getting a varied and balanced diet? Make sure you’re getting plenty of fruit and veg in there, along with meat, fish and other proteins, whilst going easy on fats, carbohydrates and sugary foods. Your body will thank you for it.
