Being a student, it can be tempting to let your diet go a little bit from time to time. So often it can be tricky trying to get the balance right, especially when you’re trying to juggle studying, socialising and just day to day life.

However hard it may seem, there are some small changes that you can make that can make a real difference to your health and well being.

They might seem obvious, but sometimes they aren’t always. Read on for our top healthy eating tips for students.

Don’t skip breakfast

You’ve probably heard this one before from your parents, a lot, but you’ll have to begrudgingly accept that they’re right on this one. It’s all about helping your body to get into a regular routine and rhythm.

Cut back on takeaways

Again, this one probably sounds obvious, but you should know that takeaways aren’t exactly healthy. If you’re getting them on a regular basis, you’re not exactly helping yourself, or your health. Though it might be easy and convenient, too many takeaways will take a toll on your health, as well as the health of your finances. Try to keep them as an occasional treat, or as a much-needed hangover cure.

Eat a varied diet
