Leeds is a fabulous northern city, as well as a fabulous shopping destination. You’ll find all the big stores, as well as a branch of luxury department store Harvey Nichols on Briggate. Leeds arguably has a bigger shopping scene than Manchester.

The recently opened Trinity Centre is one of the most exciting retail developments in recent years. If big names aren’t your thing, head on over to the beautiful victoria quarter for boutique shopping.

Manchester

Edinburgh

Princes Street is Scotland’s equivalent of Oxford Street. Expect to find big-name stores, as well as big department stores. Head one street back from Princes Street, and you’ll discover George Street, home to some of the ‘better’ shops.

If you’re looking for authentic Scottish gifts, head along the Royal Mile. If you travel up to the castle, you’ll find quite possibly one of the most unique (and expensive) whisky shops in the world.

Brighton

Brighton is the place to be seen shopping some of the biggest designers on the planet. This is the place to head to for designer gear, as well as fine perfume and jewellery.

For those of you who don’t have the cash to splash on extravagant purchases, there is a flea market next to the train station, every Sunday.
