4. Do the Otley Run
No, it’s not a marathon, but some people do treat it like a sporting event. The Otley Run is a famous pub crawl among students which stretches 18 pubs along the A660 road, leading into the city centre.
Go with your flatmates as a way to get to know each other and see how many pubs you can hit up before calling it a night. Some groups like to dress up in silly outfits which can be a lot of fun, but it isn’t mandatory.
It’s a Leeds student right-of-passage to take part in the Otley Run at least once, and you’ll have so much fun doing it even if you’re not a drinker.
5. Visit the Royal Armories
The Royal Armories Museum in Leeds is right down by the canal which runs all the way along to Liverpool. Here, you’ll see weaponry and armies from all around the world dating back hundreds of years.
