SWG3 is a hub of activity and has everything from live concerts to club nights warehouse parties to enjoy. You can also head on over to Sub Club where you can have a dance to some of the best DJ sets around.

3. Visit a Distillery

If you’re a whisky lover, you can’t come to Scotland without visiting a real Scotch distillery. The Clydeside Distillery offers an amazing chocolate and whisky tour where you can sample some of the best single malts in the country.

If you want to take a trip outside, head on over to the Auchentoshan Distillery by the Kilpatrick hills where you can try out even more amazing single malt whiskies.

4. See a Gig

The music scene is very much alive and well in Glasgow. It has even been honoured with a UNESCO City of Music award, so it doesn’t get more official than that! Each week, there are around 130 gigs taking place in the city, so there’s always something to see!

You can even take a music tour of Glasgow where you’ll see some of the most famous and hidden gems of the city where a lot of great live music has been played. If you’re a music lover, this one can’t be missed.

5. Get into Nature

Living in the big city can get overwhelming at times. This is why it’s important to get out and see nature. Luckily, Scotland has a lot of nature to enjoy and Glasgow isn’t far from the Highlands. 

Loch Lomond is only a couple of hours away and you’re not far from Balloch Castle Country Park. These places offer miles and miles of unspoilt nature and it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Make sure to bring a camera too, as you won’t want to forget this natural beauty.
