We’ve all done it. Forgotten to get someone a Christmas present. Perhaps they said that they weren’t going to come to your Christmas party, and now they’ve decided to, or that your friend’s partner has turned up.
Perhaps you forgot about a secret Santa that you were taking part in. Not to worry, there’s still plenty of last-minute gifts that you can get them. Some of them might look like obvious last-minute Christmas gifts, but others will look like you have put a bit of thought into them.
A Card
I’m not saying that if you forget to get someone a present, you should get them just a card. No, I’m saying that you should get them a card to go along with their present that you’ve only just bought. It might not cost much, but it’ll look like you thought of them that little bit extra.
Gift Cards
This might seem like a bit of a flub or a thoughtless present, but is it really? Think about it, if you know that they love shoes, you could get them a gift card for their favourite shoe shop. It doesn’t have to be a high-value gift card, just something that’ll cover the costs a little bit.
Magazine Subscription
Again, this one might seem like a bit of a cop-out, but again, if they have a really specific hobby or interest, this could come in handy. The only thing to remember is that some magazine subscriptions cost a lot more than others, so watch out!
A Nice Plant
Everyone loves a nice houseplant, don’t they? They last a lot longer than flowers and will keep on growing and flourishing. That is if they carry on looking after the plant. Teach them a bit of responsibility and show them you care by buying a houseplant.
A Bottle of Booze
This is a surefire classic last-minute gift idea, along with a box of chocolates and sweets. You could get them a bottle of their favourite spirit, or even a bottle of fizz, if you’re really stuck for ideas.
