There’s an app for almost everything these days. Apps to help you make notes, memorise things and to help you revise. They are becoming more and more useful study aids. We’ve already covered five of our favourite apps for students, but we thought that we should check out five more, designed to help you study. 

Read on to check out our five favourite apps to help you study. All of these apps are available for iOS and Android, so everyone has the chance to download these great apps!

We’ve already covered this one in another article, but Evernote is great for making lecture notes. You can access all of your notes across any of your devices. Another handy feature is that you can take photographs of your notes. Providing your handwriting is neat, Evernote should be able to convert them into text.

This software (or rather suite of apps) need no introductions, Microsoft office is essential for any student. The great thing about these apps is that you can access your documents at any time, via OneDrive. This is perfect for when you’re out and about and think of something else to add into your essay.

Grammarly is another great app, that may of you will probably already have installed on your laptop. This app is like your very own English teacher in your pocket. Grammarly will give you real-time feedback on everything to emails you’re composing, to text messages. Never make a spelling faux-pas again!

For many of us, maths is something that we struggle with. Many of us will have been glad to start studying at uni, safe in the knowledge that our courses don’t require the use of maths, only to find that there is a mathematical element to it. Mathway is here to save the day. 

You can enter in any tricky sums or formulas, and Mathway will do it for you. It’ll also show you how to work it out step-by-step. Handy.

Trello is your on the go, digital pinboard. Make lists, create tasks and put them on your Trello board. You can then colour code them, organise by tasks you have/haven’t completed and more to help you get an idea of what you need to do. Basically, Trello will help you make light work of any large projects.
